Sent to Save

The incarnation of Christ initiated God’s long standing plan to enter enemy territory and rescue all people from the kingdom of darkness. His birth was no ordinary birth and His mission in life was no ordinary mission.

Christmas celebrates the arrival of Emmanuel (God with us). Theologically, God left His heavenly kingdom and entered into enemy territory that He might rescue sinners. For those who enter into the new life He offers, we are now drafted into His grand plan to continue on in reflecting His love and reconciliation to remaining enemies. He offers us a worthwhile mission to be His ambassador, and He promises to reward us bountifully for our diligence.
