Children's Ministry
A safe, fun place where your kids learn about God's love — while you get to be in the service without worrying. Nursery through 5th grade, every Sunday.
Your first Sunday
with kids.
Head to the courtyard when you arrive — that's where check-in happens. Our team will get your child a name tag, show you where their room is, and make sure you know how everything works. If we need you during the service, we'll send you a text. That's it. Simple.
Children's programs run during both the 9:00 AM and 10:45 AM services, so you can focus on worship knowing your kids are having a great time.

A place for every age.
Nursery
A warm, welcoming space for babies with age-appropriate toys and supplies. All children are checked in on arrival, and we'll text you if we need you. Parents are always welcome to stay.
6–24 months
Toddlers
Fun, supportive environment with trained volunteers. We know drop-off can be tough — parents are welcome to stay as long as needed while your little one adjusts.
Ages 2–3
Kingdom Kids
Bible truths taught in a fun, interactive way — with a castle, play kitchen, puppet theater, and more. Their own bathroom right in the classroom.
4 years – Kindergarten
Lower Elementary
Bible-based teaching with interactive activities, games, and fellowship time. Kids learn Scripture in ways that actually stick — and make friends along the way.
1st – 3rd grade
Upper Elementary
Deeper Bible study, discussion, and social development for kids who are starting to ask bigger questions about faith and life. A bridge toward the youth programs ahead.
4th – 5th grade
Here's how it works.
Check in at the courtyard
Our team meets you at the check-in station. Your child gets a name tag, you get a matching tag and a text number.
Drop off at their room
We'll walk you to the right classroom. First time? We'll introduce you to the volunteers and make sure everyone's comfortable.
Enjoy the service
Your kids are in good hands. If we need you, you'll get a text. After the service, pick up at the same room with your matching tag.
Led by people who
genuinely love kids.
Our children's ministry is led by Amy, who brings energy, warmth, and a deep love for helping kids discover God's love. She's supported by Jennifer and Chesney, along with a team of trained volunteers who make Sunday mornings happen every week.
Ryan, our Next Gen Pastor, provides pastoral oversight across all of GateWay's ministries for children, youth, and young adults.

One week. All-out adventure. Games, music, crafts, Bible stories, and the kind of energy you can feel from the parking lot. VBC is one of the highlights of the year for kids and volunteers alike — and it's open to the whole community, not just GateWay families.
