Sent to Present

Since we have been rescued, we now point others to the one who rescued us. God has made us ambassadors, citizens of Heaven living in this foreign land, to reach into enemy territory just as He did. We do this by embracing our ministry of reconciliation.

Scripture References: 2 Corinthians 5:11-6:2-

From Series: "Reflection: Presenting Jesus to the World"

Christmas celebrates the arrival of Emmanuel (God with us). Theologically, God left His heavenly kingdom and entered into enemy territory that He might rescue sinners. For those who enter into the new life He offers, we are now drafted into His grand plan to continue on in reflecting His love and reconciliation to remaining enemies. He offers us a worthwhile mission to be His ambassador, and He promises to reward us bountifully for our diligence.
